UFC Fighter Kim “Kimo” Leopoldo Died

Former UFC fighter Kim “Kimo” Leopoldo reportedly died from complications from a heart attack at the age of 41. The UFC legend, whose last fight was in October 2006, had a history of drug abuse throughout his career and had been arrested for domestic violence, assault and battery.

Kimo was known for his cool tats, odd religious displays, and for being super tough. Kimo will be remembered for carrying a huge cross into the ring when he was to fight Hall of Fame legend Royce Gracie.

Kimo won six of his next seven bouts fighting primarily for the UFC and PRIDE. He last fought in October 2006, when he suffered a first-round TKO loss to Wes Sims at an Extreme Wars show.
