Watch New York Giants vs New Orleans Saints - NFL Week 6 Preview

The Superdome will host one of the NFL's most exciting games this Sunday.

The New York Giants rank towards the top of the league on both offense and defense to start the season. Eli Manning has developed into more than an exceptional game manager and his receivers have more than made up for the off-season loss of WR Plaxico Burress. The defense needs to continue its stingy play against a Saints offense that can rack up the points against anyone.

The surging Saints can thank coordinator Gregg Williams for a stifling defense to go with their blistering offense. New Orleans is currently only giving up a shade over 16 points per game. That average will need to remain intact against a lethal New York Giants offensive attack. Quarterback Drew Brees will also be counted on to solve the Giants' first ranked pass defense.

Fans will be treated to a potential NFC championship preview this Sunday. The Giants and Saints match-up evenly from all angles. But home field advantage will decide this coin flip game. The Saints will win in a thriller.

Watch Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers - NFL Week 6 Preview

The Cleveland Pound Puppies will venture to Pittsburgh this week in hopes of earning a second straight road win.

A six-pack of Red Bull and 50 Pixy Stix would still not have been enough to keep fans awake during Cleveland's 6-3 field goal fest with Buffalo. Derek Anderson and his 23 yard passing performance last week may have inspired Bernie Kosar to come out of retirement. Those kids from the United Way commercials could put up better stats. The Browns may want to stick with running the ball on Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Will this be the week that Troy Polamalu returns for the Pittsburgh Steelers? All signs are pointing to a return for the star safety. With or without Polamalu, the Steelers will dial up plenty of pressure to disrupt Derek Anderson and the Cleveland offense.

The kicker will not be able to bail the Browns out of this match-up. Pittsburgh will cruise in week 6.

Watch Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers - NFL Week 6 Preview

The Carolina Panthers managed to reverse their fortunes with a win against the Washington Redskins last week. Conversely, Tampa Bay continued to be an NFC doormat against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Buccaneers hope that some home cooking can reverse the franchise's fortunes this week. But a solid running game would do them even better. Carolina has been deplorable against the run this year, giving up 5 yards per carry. So the Bucs would be wise to get the ground game established early in this contest.

While the rush defense in Carolina is putrid, Tampa Bay also yields a hearty 4.7 yards per gallop. DeAngelo Williams should be salivating over that statistic. The Panthers have not been able to do anything consistently well on offense this year. But Tampa Bay represents an excellent location to establish an offensive identity.

The Panthers offense will ultimately outpace the Bucs in this contest. Carolina will win comfortably in Tampa Bay.

Watch Houston Texans vs Cincinnati Bengals - NFL Week 6 Preview

The Cincinnati Bengals should be commended for an inspiring performance against the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday.

With Bengals' defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer mourning the recent death of his wife Vikki, the team played its heart out in Baltimore. Carson Palmer continues to campaign for comeback player of the year averaging over 220 passing yards per game this season. He will enjoy going against a weak Houston secondary this week. But the Bengals need to shore up their own defensive backfield before Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson come to town.

Houston continues to pioneer new ways to lose football games each week. Last Sunday, the team inexplicably could not move the ball one yard into the end zone after three attempts. The Texans' defense is making winning nearly impossible as they continue to surrender big plays. The team needs to put Matt Schaub in a situation where he is not forced to chuck 50 passes in a game.

Despite momentum being overwhelmingly in the Bengals' favor, this can easily turn into a trap game. Cincinnati played off of a lot of emotion last week and Houston will be anxious to avenge a tough loss against Arizona. Look for the Texans to shock Bengals fans in a surprise win on the road Sunday.

Watch Kansas City Chiefs vs Washington Redskins - NFL Week 6 Preview

Both Kansas City and Washington are coming off tough losses last week.

The Chiefs lost an overtime thriller against Dallas. In the process, the offense showed some signs of life. Matt Cassel finally looked like the talented young quarterback that salvaged the Patriots' season in 2008. But a decrepit Larry Johnson is still averaging a paltry 2.4 yards per carry through five weeks. And the defense is still not showing up to work. An upgrade is needed in at least one area before the team earns its first win.

Washington is still struggling to find any continuity on offense to start the season. The team's bread and butter, Clinton Portis, is obviously still hurting. Additionally, starting left tackle Chris Samuels is expected to miss the game this week as he nurses a shoulder injury. Quarterback Jason Campbell is a game manager who will not win a contest by himself. As a result, the defense will need to dictate the action against Kansas City.

The Chiefs are starting to shows some continuity on offense in the passing game. But the Redskins' defense is among the best in the league at stopping the air game. As a result, they will win a low scoring affair.
