DJ AM Found Dead | Adam Goldstein Dead

Celebrity disc hockey Adam Goldstein aka "DJ AM" was found Friday on his New York City apartment. According to reports, his friend called the police, and this afternoon, the fire department finally entered his apartment and found his body, shirtless and wearing sweatpants. Paramedics had to break down the door to his Manhattan apartment before they found his body at about 5:20 p.m drug paraphernalia was found at the scene, including a "pipe commonly used to smoke drugs.

In September, he was badly injured after a plane caught fire during an aborted takeoff in South Carolina. After surviving the crash that left four others dead, the star - who survived along with Travis Barker.

Goldstein, 36, was a DJ for hire who performed at Hollywood's most exclusive parties. He became a celebrity in his own right with a glamorous lifestyle and high-profile romances, including with Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore.
