From 13 cities across the United States, 12 countries from all over North and Central America and the Caribbean will compete in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup that will be kicking off tonight at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. The opening game will be Canada vs. Jamaica followed by Costa Rica vs. El Salvador.

The Group Stage will begin on 3 July, followed by the knockout stage starting on 18 July. The 2009 Concacaf Gold Cup final will be played at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on 26 July.
