Amanda Barbosa Rodrigues was arrested by the Brazilian Police for possibly strangling with a purse strap and killing her husband, boxer Arturo Gatti, last July 11 in Porto de Galinhas, Brazil after giving contradicting statements when she was questioned by police.
Police said, Amanda Rodrigues had not explained how she stayed in the room for 10 hours after he was apparently strangled with a handbag strap. Police officers wondered how Amanda Rodrigues could have been in a hotel room for 10 hours after Gatti's death without reporting it to police.[video credited to BBC]
